New Healtcare System

I was curious about what my fellow US Citizens are doing to deal with the new healthcare system. (Or rather Policies? I mean... Its the same ol' crap, just with more stuff to make it inconvenient it seems.)

Its something that's been really bothering me because I don't go to the hospital. It may sound a little dramatic, but I would rather die than go to the hospital. Whats the use of living if I'll just be stressed trying to pay off medical bills? That's no way to live.

As it stands, it will cost me $150 a month to get healthcare, and I feel like the stress of having to pay that, instead of saving that money or putting it towards something that would keep me happy and stress free (You know, good food, possible vacations, or just things.) this will end up putting me in the hospital from stress.

I mean, I make enough right now to pay the bills, save money for the future, and then whatever is left over I put aside for myself for fun.

I don't qualify for assistance or anything... So I'm at a loss of what to do about this. The years penalty will only be $95 which is way more affordable than the $1800 I would have to pay if I have insurance, but I just honestly still don't feel I should have to pay for a system I don't use. In 2015 the tax penalty will be $325 and then in 2016 $695... As if Social Security and Medicare taxes were not enough taken out of my monthly checks.

Pfft, My generation will probably not see a penny of social security, Lol or ffff I'll have to wait till I'm like 80 years old! Medicare, I don't mind $200 a year going to help old people, but $695 on TOP OF THAT?????? Fuck that. That's 84 hours of work for me.

*sigh*

I'm sorry for being rant-y. I just don't know what to do.

How are you guys dealing with it? Does your family have healthcare? Do you get it through your job?
